Fabrication and assembly process
Fabrication and assembly is a post-production process of in house manufactured parts, together with piece parts supplied by the client.
Sub- and full assembly right through to packing
Our fabrication and assembly at AV Engineering is a value-added process, which includes fabrication from sheet or moulded product requiring chemical or hot gas welding. Our 5-axis routers give us the ability to profile parts to assist these processes. The product can be thermoformed or cut directly from sheet plastic. AV Engineering apply a range of bonding techniques, such as:
- hot gas
- hot melt
- plate welding of polypropylene and polyethylene
- chemical bonding
- urethane bonding
- epoxy bonding
- ultrasonic bonding
Whether it is a small sub-or complete assembly, we ensure full compliance with the client’s specifications and instructions, adhering to our own ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 14001-2015 quality standards. Contact us to find out more.
