AV Engineering are excited to have developed and manufactured a cover for the new Fluenta UFM 2100. The cover houses a flare gas meter, which measures and monitors the flow of flare gas. Based in Norway, Fluenta is the global leader in the use of ultrasonic sensing technology for the measurement of flare gas.
The challenge presented to AV Engineering was that the design concept required the mould to deliver a cover with a conical undercut, with a high quality surface finish in a flame retardant ABS. This was achieved by designing a high definition female tool with a post moulding release mechanism.
